Can we all be honest here and agree Lena Dunham is actually pretty obnoxious? OK, now that we got that out of the way…
Recently, Dunham caught Maria Shriver and Lauer and of the Today show a bit off guard when she started off an interview about her show Girls by dropping the word “penis.” Shriver looked shocked and said that she wasn’t sure if that was a word you could say on TV or not. You can. It’s a body part and people should let loose a bit and not be so caught off guard by it. Lighten up, Shriver!
Although something can be admired about being so blunt, there’s something so obnoxious and annoying in the way she handled the flop; holding up the peace sign and saying, “Well that’s the last time I’ll be back. Going out with a bang!” It just seems a bit immature, but it’s Lena Dunham so, you know, it comes with the territory!
