Guns N’ Roses played Melbourne, Australia last night and got off to a rough start. When they were being announced as the show was beginning, the announcer forgot which city they were in and mistakenly said “Sydney!” This was quickly followed by a loud string of boos from the crowd.
The guy who announces them is their instrument tech McBob, who’s been with the band for 30 years and always announces them before the show. The craziest part is that apparently, his wife is from Melbourne…so you’d think he’d know where he was! Apparently not.
