These Security Cameras Using Facial Recognition Won’t Let Masked People In The Store (Video)

A convenience store in St. Louis, Missouri is testing out some new technology that they hope will reduce the amount of robberies.  After dark, in order to gain access to the store, a customer has to show their face to a security camera that is mounted above the entrance.  If the customer doesn’t show their face, the door remains locked and no one can get in.  So a would-be criminal can’t hide their face in any way, including behind a mask!

This is really some great technology that will hopefully curb the amount of robberies happening at these establishments!
