A Dallas surgeon has been sentenced to life in prison for botching several surgeries.
During the case, the judge and jury heard accounts of people who now live lives of pain or have been paralyzed. Some patients have even died after after going under the knife of Christopher Duntsch.
One man said, “What I have to deal with every day, I would not wish on anyone. I wouldn’t even wish what I feel upon him, it’s just that bad.”
Now, it’s not entirely clear if Duntsch hurt these patients intentionally or if he was just a terrible surgeon, but either way, many victims are relieved to know he will never do surgery again. Other doctors testified against Duntsch, which definitely did not help his case.
All in all, Duntsch damaged multiple lives and these people finally have their justice.
