We’ll just go ahead and add this one to the “Stuff you never see at a tennis match” file…
Yesterday a match during the Miami Open was briefly delayed because of a special visitor on the court: an iguana. First, the ‘lil buddy was just chillin’ on the scoreboard. Germany’s Tommy Haas even took a selfie with it! Then it ran across the court and all the ball kids were trying to chase it.
Eventually the prehistoric-looking beast was gathered up and the matches continued.
