Swords. The weapon of choice for ninjas, pirates and vikings. And for one woman in Manchester, New Hampshire, swords are her favorite weapon to do tricks with.
On Monday night, 51-year-old Lisa Bunker was trying to do swords tricks in her home when she fell and hit her head, cutting her over her eye. Bunker’s 37-year-old ex-husband was trying to get the sword away from her when he cut both of his hands on the sword.
When police arrived, Bunker thought it was a good idea to demonstrate the tricks, without the sword. During her performance, she accidentally struck an officer in the face and that’s when things got interesting. Bunker then attempted to walk away when police tried to arrest her. She then rolled up into a ball so the officers couldn’t get her hands. Long story short, the officers won that battle. Bunker was taken to jail on charges of simple assault, reckless conduct, and resisting arrest.
Maybe she should stick to magic tricks or anything else that doesn’t involve swords.
