On Saturday night, South Carolina lost to Gonzaga 77-73 in their NCAA tournament semifinal game. It was a pretty heartbreaking loss for the Gamecocks, even though they were a number seven seed while Gonzaga is a one seed.
After the game, South Carolina’s coach Frank Martin had some very emotional words at the press conference. While he was obviously upset over the outcome of the game, that took a back seat to his sadness about no longer being able to coach some of his players, who he says are all role models.
