On April 10th at around 12:40 p.m., an officer was parked in the parking lot at 625 1st Street. The officer observed a male subject on a bicycle approach a female subject who was making her way through the parking lot. The male subject grabbed the female in a threatening manner, and the officer immediately identified himself loudly as a police officer. The male subject began running from the location. After a short foot pursuit, the officer was able to stop and detain the male, identified as 18-year-old Kenneth Saunsoci of Rapid City. After further investigation. Saunsoci was placed under arrest for 2nd Degree Robbery.
