18-year-old Jared Dylan Smith of Louisiana was arrested and spent a night in jail recently for something that many, many people do on a regular basis: dropping an F-bomb!
A 75-year-old woman complained that Smith had dropped the obscenity, to which he denied. But alas, he was arrested anyway, went to jail for the night and was eventually released on $200 bond.
In Louisiana, “disturbing the peace” can get you up to 90 days in jail and a $100 fine, which seems pretty lopsided. But you do you, Louisiana.
