Bill O’Reilly Has Been Fired From Fox News (Video)

Yesterday, 21st Century Fox announced that Bill O’Reilly is done at Fox News.

Fox said, “After a thorough and careful review of the allegations, the Company and Bill O’Reilly have agreed that Bill O’Reilly will not be returning to the Fox News Channel.

Bill wasn’t quite as diplomatic.  After bragging about his 20 years on “one of the most successful news programs in history,” he said, “It is tremendously disheartening that we part ways due to completely unfounded claims.  But that is the unfortunate reality many of us in the public eye must live with today.

Tucker Carlson is getting Bill’s 8PM timeslot. “The O’Reilly Factor” has been the #1 cable news show for 15 consecutive years.  It generated $446 million in advertising revenue from 2014 through 2016.  But it all fell apart earlier this month, when the New York Times reported that $13 million had been paid out to settle sexual harassment claims against Bill.  Last week, as advertisers continued to flee the show, Bill said he was taking a supposedly “pre-planned” two-week vacation.

Last summer, Fox boss Roger Ailes got the boot after former anchor Gretchen Carlson sued him for sexual harassment and several more women came forward with similar allegations.  The supposedly toxic culture at Fox News was at least one of the reasons Megyn Kelly left for NBC, even though Fox offered her $100 million to stay.

Below, you can watch Bill O’Reilly’s final sign-off from his last show on April 11th, as well as his infamous “We’ll do it live!” rant from his days on Inside Edition.
