At about 0730 yesterday a vehicle collided with a pedestrian at the intersection of W. Main Street and 44th. The pedestrian received serious but non-life threatening injuries. This incident serves as a good reminder that as the weather warms up, motorists and pedestrians alike need to be aware of their surroundings. Drivers should slow down and be on the lookout for bicyclists, pedestrians, and smaller framed vehicles like motorcycles.
