Professional cyclist Toms Skujiņš of Latvia had a pretty horrific crash recently during the Tour of California. It was obvious right away that Skujiņš was hurt when he tried to stand up and was noticeably wobbly. After stumbling around for a minute or so and nearly getting hit by other racers and chose motorcycles, Toms managed to make his way back on to his bike, but things didn’t go too well moving forward. He was later pulled from the race and it was discovered that he suffered a broke collarbone and a concussion. So yeah, it was probably for the best that he was pulled out.
