A Florida man is in critical condition after doing something very Florida.
On Tuesday, Ron Reinold of Putnam County in Florida was flown by helicopter to the hospital after he attempted to kiss a snake. His attempt at the circus sideshow stunt landed him in critical condition, but his family said yesterday that his condition was improving and that he’s expected to survive.
The whole ordeal started when Reinold’s neighbor found the snake on Monday night and put it in a tank. Then on Tuesday, Reinold and some others decided that it would be a good idea to tease the serpent by giving it a little smooch. Well, the snake kissed back, latching on to Reinold’s tongue. We’ll just assume that was the worst kiss of his life, but he does live in Florida, so we can’t be positive.
Hopefully ‘ol Ron learned his lesson with that one.
