Mets Broadcaster Keith Hernandez Doesn’t Realize His Mic Is On, Says Something You Can’t Say On TV (Video)

When you’re in the studio, you assume that the microphone is ALWAYS on.  It’s the golden rule in broadcasting.  Mets broadcaster Keith Hernandez learned that the hard way when calling a game last night.

Hernandez assumed that they were in a commercial break and was commenting on the performance of Washington Nationals pitcher Tanner Roark, who’s been having trouble in his past few starts.  Responding to the play-by-play guy in the booth, Hernandez said that Roark has been “getting his t*ts lit.

It’s really a shame that word is not allowed on TV.  It’s a fantastic word.  It’s very descriptive and everyone knows exactly what Hernandez is saying with his comment!
