This TV station in Canada was simply trying to offer up a fun new activity for the summer, now that the weather is nice. But the anchors and the weatherman misinterpreted it just a bit.
A graphic at the bottom of the screen suggested “swinging” as an activity to try this summer. Whoever wrote the graphic meant the kind of swinging you do at a playground…you know, on a SWING. Obviously, everyone in the studio thought that it was referring to the other kind of swinging…the kind where people trade spouses and have sex with each other. Yeah, that’s a bit different and probably not something the serious news station would be promoting!
