Drug Call

On July 3rd at around 3:40 a.m., police were dispatched to the 600 Block of Lindbergh Avenue for a report of a male suspect asking passersby if they wished to purchase methamphetamine. Police were informed the suspect drove out of the area prior to law enforcement arrival. The suspect vehicle was spotted turning onto Interstate-90 from Haines Avenue. A traffic stop on the vehicle was conducted after the vehicle exited onto exit 57. The driver, identified as 19-year-old Michael Coury of Douglas WY, was detained. During a search of his person, police located a glass pipe which field-tested positive for methamphetamine. Coury was placed under arrest for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Ingestion of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
