Andy Serkis has played many memorable parts in several films. Movies like…um…yeah.  He’ll forever be remembered as Gollum from Lord of the Rings and there is no way around it. He’s fantastic in Planet of The Apes and King Kong, but it’s Gollum that launched him into world-wide fame.Â
On The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, he thrilled fans by getting into character by jumping on to his chair and doing the ‘voice’ we all know so well while reading Donald Trump tweets as Gollum. While the tweets may be mind numbing, Serkis brings them to life with the unstable Gollum and may have even thrown in a ‘precious’ or two. We were moved enough to dust off the trilogy and may even watch it again.
