Rapid City police seek public’s help in identifying robbery suspect

Rapid City police are releasing surveillance footage captured during an armed robbery with the intention of garnering information from anyone who may have information about the incident or the suspect’s identity.

On July 22nd around 12:50 a.m., police responded to 310 E. Fairmont Boulevard for a report of a panic alarm. On arrival, police were advised by employees of the business that they had just been robbed at gunpoint by a single suspect. The suspect brandished a black handgun before making off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

 

The suspect is described as a skinny 25-30 year old white male, standing around 5’10” tall, and wearing black pants, a dark-colored t-shirt over a light-colored long-sleeve shirt, a grey beanie, a black bandanna over his face, and green gloves.
