A plane flying from Brussels to Montreal got diverted because of storms on Monday, and 336 passengers had to wait on the plane for six hours, after they had already been in the air for nine hours. It got so hot that one of the passengers called 911 from inside of the plane. The pilot then tried to call that passenger up to the front of the plane to have a discussion about it.
The passengers were forced to stay on the plane because the airport in Ottawa was so overwhelmed with planes being diverted from other places that there were no gates and no stairs available to deboard them. There is no word on whether or not the passenger presented themselves to the pilot or not.
