Some people are born with a never-give-up attitude, while others develop it over time. And for some, not at all. Matt Stutzman was born with that attitude and he has become one of best archers in the world. What sets Matt apart from all other archers is that Matt was born without arms.
Matt is one of the top archers in the world, regardless of the fact that he has no arms. To prove he is one of the best, Matt took a silver metal home during the 2012 games in London. When people see Matt, they get surprised at just how well he can shoot a bow. Matt took up archery while looking for a career change. He also likes to work on cars, play pool and even drives his own car. Matt says that he enjoys being an inspiration to others. “I never quit, I never quit, so why are you quitting,” Matt says.
Matt is currently competing in the USA Archery Outdoor National Championship in Indiana. He is currently in 10th place and the finals are set for this Saturday at 7PM.
