You may not remember it because you’re too young, but until now, Carl Lewis’ rendition of the National Anthemranked up there among the worst ever. But now, we have this woman.
A woman at a county fair in Summit County, Utah has challenged Lewis for the worst anthem ever, and she might have come close to nailing it. It was really pretty excruciating. She later claimed that she was distracted by a bad echo, which made it hard for her to hear herself. We think that she was distracted by the Mad Dog 20/20 that she no doubt chugged in the parking lot in the bed of the same pickup she was standing in to sing the anthem. You be the judge.
UPDATE: Summit County has issued a statement apologizing for the awful anthem!
