This Little Leaguer Will Be Your New Favorite Athlete (Video)

You’re probably not really following the lead-up to the Little League World Series, unless you happen to be the parent or close relative of one of the kids playing.  But you may now have a reason to start paying attention!

This is Richie Gilboy of South Portland, ME.  Back home, they call him “Ricardo.”  And Richie claims to take “big daddy hacks.”  In other words, he can hit the ball a mile.  And he proved it in a recent game against Essex Junction when he got ahold of a ball served up by the pitcher and sent it into orbit!

We’re expecting big things from Ricardo in the coming years.
