In this tear-jerking and heartwarming story, a little boy shows up to his first day of kindergarten with about 100 police officers.
After losing his father, a former Houston Police Officer, Kevin Tomball has to go through big moments in his life without him. Big days such as the first day of school. With constant support from their “family in blue” Kevin’s mom, Alisha, thought it would be a good idea to have a few guys from the force come to the house for Kevin’s first day of school.
Now, everything truly is bigger in Texas because they showed up with more than a few officers, some even on horseback!
Kevin got pictures on the saddle with the horse and was escorted down the street to school in what was basically his own parade, complete with a helicopter escort overhead!
What a special moment for a boy who definitely deserved the best first day of school!
