Nancy Pelosi Messes Up Her Metaphors: ‘You Can’t Yell Wolf In A Crowded Theater’ (Video)

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi has been talking about free speech in interviews lately, and she keeps getting mixed up about what kinds of speech are protected.  On at least two occasions, Pelosi has said that you can’t yell “WOLF” in a crowded theater.  But unfortunately, the metaphor states that you can’t yell “FIRE” in a crowded theater, which dates back to an opinion written by Oliver Wendell Holmes in a famous free speech case in 1919.  Pelosi has screwed it up at least twice so far this week.
