On August 28th around 4:30 a.m., police responded to 35 Omaha Street to assist a PCSO deputy with a report of a disturbance. Police learned that a male victim had approached the deputy at this address after reportedly being assaulted near his residence along Quincey Street. The victim informed police the incident happened after he began investigating yelling noises near his residence. He was then assaulted by two male suspects unknown to the victim. The victim was able to leave the area and make contact with law enforcement at 35 Omaha Street. He was transported to Rapid City Regional Hospital for the treatment of non-life-threatening stab wounds as law enforcement continues to investigate the incident.
