Three women followed a drunk driver down Southwest Florida’s Interstate 75 while on the phone with authorities and streaming the events on Facebook Live.
The 25-year-old drunk driver was swerving all over the road, smacking into the median and even off-roading at some points. Facebook live definitely came in handy yet again when these women used it to document the wild drive they were witnessing.
While on the phone with 911, other drivers realized what was going on and tried to help. Eventually the women decide a good course of action would be to finally stop the woman by getting in front of her and letting her rear-end them.
Authorities said it’s always a good idea to call when you see a drunk driver but it’s not usually a great idea to take matters into your own hands to stop it. However, the ladies did the right thing and possibly saved others’ lives in the process.
