Jami Garcia was getting her sons ready for bed one night when one of the boys lifted the lid to the toilet and there was a snake in the bowl staring back at him!
“Ewww, Mommy, go look in the toilet,” he said.
Garcia looked and promptly called some friends for backup. At first they tried to lure the snake out but it went back into the pipes so the next best option was to take the toilet outside and smash it.
Once they got the snake out, a local pet shop owner said that it definitely was a ball python, which are most definitely not native to Kansas.
Apparently the slithery creatures make great pets so check your toilets everyone! You may have a free little friend hiding in there!
