The 69th Emmy Awards took place last night, with Stephen Colbert as host. Colbert surprised everyone by bringing out former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer to make a joke about crowd size, a reference to the Presidential Inauguration back in January when Spicer said that the crowd size was the biggest ever for an inauguration…period.
Spicer came out on stage behind a wheeled podium like Melissa McCarthy used when portraying him on “Saturday Night Live.” Everyone in the crowd, including McCarthy, seemed to get a really big kick out of the whole thing!
