David Pastrnak, the 21-year-old forward for the Boston Bruins, just signed a massive contract extension worth $40 million. So basically, as long as he’s not a complete idiot, he’s set for life. And judging by this clip below in which Pastrnak talks about his first big post-contract purchase, we’re pretty sure he’s going to be just fine.
While some may have gone out and blown a bunch of cash on cars, houses and fancy vacations, Pastrnak kept things a little more low key, opting to instead purchase a chicken dinner for eight bucks. Well done.
If you suddenly came into $40 million, what would be the first thing you’d buy?
So, @pastrnak96, what’s the first big thing you’re going to buy?
“Nothing, I got dinner yesterday for $8…rice and chicken teriyaki.” ???? pic.twitter.com/a2ydNRRP0j
