Canadian Candy Controversy Bans Kids 16 And Over From Trick-Or-Treating (Video)

A city in Canada has made a rule that nobody age 16 or older will be fined if caught trick-or-treating.

If people who are not allowed to trick-or-treat are caught they will be fined $200, which apparently is a lighter version of last year’s rules. Last year, the city said anyone aged 14 or older could not participate.

The mandate has people reacting, of course, on social media!

On woman said as long as kids are dressed up and are nice, then they are welcome to treats but another said by age 16 kids are old enough to work and buy their own candy.

So we guess there goes our Halloween plans…darn.
