There was a mass shooting at a Jason Aldean concert on the Las Vegas strip last night. At least 50 people are dead, and over 400 wounded. The suspect, a local resident, was killed by a SWAT team. The police are still looking for a woman said to be his companion last night.
The incident happened right after 10PM Pacific time in an open area called Las Vegas Village that’s across from the Mandalay Bay and Luxor casinos. It was the end of a three-day country music festival called Route 91 Harvest, with 30,000 people in the crowd. There were three long bursts of automatic gunfire with long pauses in between and the shooter was firing from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay.
