The music world lost another legend last night, as Tom Petty passed away at the age of 66. Petty went into cardiac arrest on Sunday, after he was discovered unconscious in his Malibu home. He was rushed to the hospital and put on life support, where it was later determined that he had no measurable brain function. Petty was later removed from life support and passed away a little before 9PM Pacific time yesterday.
