We see plays like this every football season. A team is down to their last play and has nearly the length of the field to cover in order to win. Every now and then, they pull off some miracle play and win the game. But more times than not, it doesn’t happen.
In this game, the Lima Senior Spartans were beating the St. Francis de Sales Knights by just one point after their kicker, Cole Miracle (yes, MIRACLE) kicked a go-ahead field goal. There were just three seconds left on the clock. The Spartans lined up and kicked the ball off to the Knights, who proceeded to lateral the ball five times and take it over 90 yards TO THE HOUSE! Except not quite. The aforementioned Miracle literally pulled off a miracle by chasing down the sprinting Knight and tackling him on the two yard line!
All of that work for nothing!
