Orlando Man Is Suing The City After His Krispy Kreme Glaze Flakes Were Mistaken For Meth (Video)

Daniel Rushing has been awarded a $37,500 settlement from the City of Orlando after his Krispy Kreme donut flakes were mistaken for meth.

Rushing was pulled over for a routine traffic stop when his car ended up being searched. The officer found bits of glaze on the floor, which she thought was drugs and used a Safariland roadside testing kit to test the addictive substance. The test came back positive as a methamphetamine.

Arrested, strip searched and later released once the tests came back negative from the state lab, Rushing was seeking $15,000 in damages from the city and was also suing Safariland.

Lesson here is to be careful with your donuts! Also can we please get Krispy Kreme in on this to get him a free lifetime supply or something?
