This Woman Thought Her Dog Was Put Down But Found Out He Was Still Alive 5 Months Later (Video)

Kari Levy brought her 15-year-old miniature pinscher, Ceaser, to Briarwood Veterinary Hospital in Howell, New Jersey to be put down after he was diagnosed with a life-threatening illness.

Levy picked up Ceaser’s collar, paid her bill, and even was given a letter of condolences from the veterinarian’s office. All seemed pretty standard, until Levy found out the dog was never actually put down and was actually taken home by a vet tech.

Eventually Levy called the police and they forced the technician to return Ceaser to his owner. The dog with seemingly endless lives was then put down for real and Levy was refunded for the first fake procedure.

The veterinarian who owned the hospital has since sold the practice and the employee who took the dog no longer works there.

We hope Ceaser is in a better place now frolicking with all the other good boys like him.
