People Thought Apple Was Crazy Because Of This Video In 1987, Boy Were They Wrong (Video)

An old Apple video from 1987 that showed something about the future of computers is going, partly because it used to be seen as wrong, but was actually pretty spot on!

The video was meant to be set in 2007 and shows a professor doing things like preparing for a lecture, video chatting, and ordering a cake all by using things that resemble what we have now.

It shows a computer that opens and folds like a book and the is also a touchscreen tablet, so basically an iPad. There is also a virtual assistant, like Siri, and the professor was also accessing information on something like the internet, which came shortly after.

The video, back in 1987 was actually pretty controversial at first but former Apple CEO John Sculley says it all just goes to show the “exponential rate of change” we have experience.

“All of these things which we take for granted today, we were being criticized for saying this was what the world was going to look like,” he said.
We wonder what a video done today like this would show! Or if it would even be close!
