Woman Working At Staples Is Surprised When People Don’t Like Her Wearing Blackface (Video)

An HP contractor was working at a Bay Area Staples store where she decided the best Halloween costume would be putting on what resembled blackface.

The employee said her costume was supposed to be a “spa guest” and pointed out she has curlers in her hair and the black on her face is supposed to be a “charcoal mask.”

Customers were definitely taken back by the costume and one even told her she shouldn’t have done it because it can be construed as blackface, to which she replied, “Oh no no no, that’s not me” and then offered candy.

When customers complained they were told by store employees it was supposed to be a sharpie costume, despite what the employee had said herself.

Someone get this woman an “Easy” button because she’s got a pretty hard fight ahead of her.
