Halloween was Tuesday, it was also the day Wendy Williams fainted during the live broadcast of her show.
Of course, the internet went crazy. Because of how wild the whole thing looked, a lot of people thought it was fake or just speculating more than they should have.
Wendy decided to have a little sit-down to explain what was really going on on her end and how much it scared her.
“First of all, I was trending all day — fabulous,” she said. “But a lot of people thought that was a joke. No, that was a not a joke. I don’t want to fall. I’m a tall woman, and it’s a long way down. I’m also a woman of a particular age, and I’m not trying to break anything. Also I don’t do stunts and jokes for you like that. I don’t need that.”
She explained how she was feeling wonky for minutes before and when she realized what was happening she was trying to protect her head, not pull the podium down with her, and also try to still look somewhat cute doing it.
Williams said she is healthy and is just going through what women of her age go through and was just pushing herself too hard.
Although some of us are still on the fence on if it was fake or real, but all the best to Wendy.
