Two different Detroit police precincts ended up mistakenly getting into a turf war in a very drug-active neighborhood because communication is apparently dead.
Apparently it all started when two officers from the 12th Precinct were undercover pretending to be drug dealers and waiting for customers to come to them.
Seems pretty normal but the twist here is that the customers were really undercover officers from the 11th Precinct.
Neither the 11th and 12th officers realized the others were fellow officers and they ordered them to the ground.
Eventually, the mix-up ended in an actual turf war between the two precincts complete with guns drawn and punches.
Now the whole thing is under investigation and the officers probably are embarrassed, we sure would be!
