A teacher at Carter G. Woodson Middle School assigned this “Family Quiz” worksheet that asked children to define things like “mistress,” “boy toy,” and “trophy wife.”
This quiz was 20 questions long with the first 16 seeming easy and normal enough. Questions asked students to know the meaning of family members like cousins or aunts but the last four questions are what people are not happy about.
Questions like “What do you call the much younger boyfriend of an older woman?” and “What do you call the much younger and beautiful wife of an older, wealthy man?” with answers being “boy toy” and “trophy wife.”
Apparently the teacher had downloaded the quiz off the internet and did not have it approved with her lesson plan.
Something weird must have happened in her life to possess her to think it’s okay to teach this stuff to kids! We mean, they’d probably figure it out somewhere down the line but a jilted teacher probably shouldn’t be where.
