Pennsylvania Police Department Waiving Minor Citations In Exchange For Toy Donations (Video)

It’s the most wonderful time of the year…to be pulled over?

Well, at least if you are pulled over in St. Mary’s City, Pennsylvania.

The St. Mary’s Police Department has recently started their new program called “Cops For Kids” in order to increase toy donations for less fortunate children to Project Gifts.

When people are pulled over for minor traffic violations, police officers in St. Mary’s will be issuing warnings and informational flyers on the program for citizens to be able to join the cause.

People also don’t have to be pulled over to donate and can drop off toys to the station at any time!

It’s the season of giving people! Pay it forward, do something nice, and make someone’s holidays!
