Pharrell Records A New Song To Be Released In 2117 But Only If We Care About The Planet (Video)

Pharrell Williams teamed up with Louis XIII Cognac to create a song that will not be heard for a whole century, and even then it may not exist anymore.

The song, titled 100 Years was recorded onto a record made of clay soil of Cognac and stored in the Louis XIII cellars in a “water-vulnerable” safe. The point of the safe being susceptible to water is if climate change continues on the path it is now, it is predicted sea levels will rise so much within the next 100 years, a significant portion of our planet will be covered with water.

The project is a way Pharrell and Louis XIII are using a time capsule to help us understand we need to change our ways, care for the planet, and preserve it (and the song) for future generations.

This is really cool and also makes us think, what would you put into a time capsule?
