Yes, an employee actually poured the water, carried it all the way to the table without even noticing the dead amphibian floating.
The guy who found the creature in his drink actually didn’t even notice it and was just sipping on his water while they waited for their food. It wasn’t until he and his wife, Claire Sheats, looked down and noticed it.
Sheats said they let their waitress see, notified the manager, notified corporate and even let the health department know about the incident. Sheats also took this to the court of public opinion and posted a video to Facebook.
We can’t say this makes us never want to eat at Waffle House again, but someone should let them know hops only belong in beer!
