A Wheelchair Doesn’t Stop This Woman From Becoming A Successful Pole Dancer (Video)

This disabled pole dancer is proving the fact that she needs a wheelchair to get around, will not stop her from making major steps in the pole world as a champion.

Erin Clark started pole dancing in April 2017 and within months she’d won a national title and was on her way to the World Championships!

Erin was born with sacral agenesis, which means the base of her spine never formed and she has spent her life in a wheelchair.

Clark says she has battled discrimination and accessibility issues her whole life or has been expected to be uncomfortable with her unique body.

Inclusivity in the world of pole dancing is something Clark has been fighting for and succeeding! Just when she started, there actually wasn’t even a disabled category for her to compete in, but now thanks to Erin, there is! However, despite successes, Clark says the world of competitive pole dancing still has a ways to go.

Clark is still preparing for the world championships and we hope for the best!
