It’s fun to mock people who “play” fantasy sports, especially when you point out to them that they’re really no different than people who play games like Dungeons and Dragons and other “fantasy” or role-playing games. And the guy in this story just makes mocking them easier.
Justin Poliachik of North Carolina lost in his fantasy football league and had to pay the ultimate price. Because of a previously agreed upon punishment, Poliachik had to spend 24 hours in a Waffle House! Justin was allowed to take 20 minutes off for each waffle he ate while he was there, but only managed seven waffles in total. That’s about as pathetic as his fantasy team’s showing this season! C’mon, man! Only seven waffles in 24 hours?!
