The Recent Winter Storm Has Turned The NYC Concrete Jungle Into A Trash Kingdom (Video)

Last week a severe winter storm rocked the East coast which has caused all kinds of delays in travel and apparently also trash.

Piles upon piles of trash line the streets of the five boroughs of New York City and people are saying their trash hasn’t been picked up since Christmas!

Lisa Rosner, a reporter for CBS New York ventured into the concrete jungle turned trash jungle to see what people thought of it all and as one would expect, it’s not good.

“It really makes me feel like I’m at home in my trash kingdom,” said one woman.

And a “trash kingdom” it is, complete with towers of recycling and stinky garbage that are actually taller than Rosner as she demonstrated. Rosner, according to her, stands five-foot-four and the trash still towers over her!

Now if you ever thought the people of New York were trashy, now they are living in actual trash. Soon enough raccoons and other trash-loving creatures could outnumber the people and NYC will become a stinky, critter-infested – oh wait…
