Breastfeeding Mother Asked To Leave Chik-Fil-A (Video)

Fargo, North Dakota resident Macy Hornung and her family was attending a soft opening of a new Chick-fil-A location when she was asked to leave by the owner because she was breastfeeding without a cover.

Hornung was feeding her baby girl, Ziggy, when the owner, Kimberly Flamm, asked that Hornung cover up or leave the establishment.

“I tried to explain that I couldn’t, because my baby refuses to be covered and she started harping about the children and men who can see my indecency and I need to cover,” said Hornung. “I said they could practice the simple art of looking away and tried to cite North Dakota breastfeeding laws.”

Flamm still insisted that the mother must cover up or leave, so Hornung and her family decided to leave and take to Facebook and of course it took off.

Kimberly Flamm did issue a statement on social media in the midst of the breastfeeding battle saying, “My goal is to provide a warm and welcoming environment for all of my guests and I sincerely apologize for the way I handled this situation.”

2018 so far is still the year of battling for boobies and babies to coexist peacefully in public.
