Man Who Ate Raw Salmon Sushi Almost Every Day Pulled A Five-Foot Tapeworm Out Of His Body (Video)

This guy in Fresno would eat raw salmon sushi almost every day and was somehow surprised when he had stomach problems. Eventually he pulled a five-foot-long tapeworm from his bunghole.

Now we’ll let Dr. Kenny Banh, the doctor who treated the guy in the ER tell you the gory, disgusting details of how the guy got the worm out (heads up, it involved diarrhea) but once it was out the guy wrapped it around an empty toilet paper roll and brought it to the doctor.

Banh said the tapeworm had been growing inside of the man for about six months and could have come from some contaminated salmon that the CDC had put out an alert for last year.

Apparently the guy is all good now but is swearing off sushi for a while, probably a good idea.

If you thought this was absolutely disgusting, we’re glad we could help you start your week with this health lesson but we’re all gagging over here so you’re not alone.
