Liam Neeson and Helen Mirren used to be lovers, and in more ways than one apparently!
Neeson and Mirren actually used to date and live together. It didn’t work out and they are no longer together, but clearly they are still friends and don’t mind sharing some of their favorite memories on shows like The Graham Norton Show!
One memory being from the first movie they ever did together Excalibur where the pair actually ended up having a love scene.
Unfortunately the love scene never made the final cut of the film, which is a little disappointing because the way they described it it sounds like a real sight.
Neeson said he was wearing a suit of armor with, to Mirren’s surprise, a real, live eagle watching over them.
We’re glad to see there’s still a friendly love between the two stars in the end!
