Tara Guertin let her friends take her car from Connecticut to Vermont for a ski trip but eventually realized her friends are idiots.
The gaggle of idiots were lost and decided to turn on their GPS. They followed it in front of the Coast Guard station, over the dock and soon onto the ice where the car started to sink.
Guertin, being the good friend she is and not murdering her pals when they told her the news, just asked that everyone was okay and called Pierre Larocque to get the car out.
Larocque, who sadly doesn’t have a fun French accent, had to roll the car over on its wheels so they could get the car out of the water quickly because it was in front of a Coast Guard station.
The car made it out and Guertin is thankful and thinks she should buy Larocque “a bottle of something.” She also should be thankful that nobody will be facing charges in all of this.
GPS may be a substitute for maps, but it’s not one for common sense people!
